RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 44 ABERDARE) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2018
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council on 28th February 2018 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) which would have expired on 2nd September 2018 has been continued in force under authority of the Cabinet Secretary for Economy and Transport, one of the Welsh Ministers in exercise of the powers contained in section 15(5) of the Act and shall be operative up to and including 1st March 2019
The effect of the order prohibits access in the interests of public safety along that part of the footpath that commences at the junction of Footpath 43 and 63 Aberdare on Moss Row, Abernant (Grid Reference SO00590360), and leads south west along the boundary wall to old Aberdare General Hospital, to its termination at its junction with Footpath 37 and 45 Aberdare (Grid Reference SO00310340)
During the period of the closure, pedestrians should use the existing highway network.
