Are they all trying hard at to gain Merit Badges?

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council you say on your Twitter account to report problems to customer services I have reported several relevant concerns regarding local issues but I have received only one reply to one enquiry with reference number REF: 102336333.

A response from the appropriate director or manager is what is required or have they been informed not to comment on local resident concerns?

Directors and managers at RCTC are well salaried but don’t want to communicate to the public.

Why is this council run so clandestinely? What have you got to hide that your Directors and managers cannot answer simple requests?

Are they all trying hard at to gain Merit Badges?

I couldn't agree more. I've raised a simple complaint about a request/threat to keep wheelie bins off the pavement in Brook Street, Gwawr Street and Abergwawr Place in Aberaman.

The complaint was raised initially with Nigel Wheeler who is the Service Director for Street-care at Rhondda Cynon Taf Council.

He passed this on to Steve Gammon who is the Streetcare Cleansing & Enforcement Manager. Steve failed to respond right from the very beginning having arranged to meet with me, then not even have the decency or the professionalism to turn up to the very meeting he arranged. The meeting location was even at his office in Ty Glantaf, Treforest.

I followed this with an e-mail to Steve Gammon on the 3rd of July, and subsequently on the 9th of July given that he had not even acknowledged receipt of the first e-mail. Now 12 days on Steve Gammon has still yet to reply.

I understand that a managers salary at Ty Glantaf, Treforest is on average £51,000 per annum and yet they are unable to act with the same professionalism of people who earn a considerable amount less.

I am very disappointed with the customer service efforts, especially when all I'm asking is for all residents of Rhondda Cynon Taff to be treated equally.

An equality that Rhondda Cynon Taff Council is unable to show with waste collections and now customer service from its high-paid managers.
