The Aberdare Girls School (Old Gadlys School) was sold at Auction yesterday for £188,000 approx 7.5 times the reserve. The land behind didn't sell.

RCT will spend it on members of public outside our area on diving boards, but not on steam room to aid ex miners chest by replacing OASIS health suite.

Those reserves ARE cheap. But they sell for far more (still cheap mind). There may be strings attached in the covenants. I brought my ex servicemens club - 4800 sq ft - for 35,000

and RCT say they cant afford to retain steam room at aberdare to aid ex miners chests plus the jaccuzi for those of us that have work related stress, they dont publicise their income from sales and icelandic bank accounts
