(TEMPORARY CLOSURE) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Order made by Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council on 6 March 2020 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) which would have expired on 9 September 2020 has been continued in force under authority of the Minister for Economy, Transport and North Wales, one of the Welsh Ministers in exercise of the powers contained in section 15(5) of the Act and shall be operative up to and including 9 March 2021
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding along that part of the footpath that commences opposite No. 13 Blaennant Y Groes Road (Grid Reference SO02640249) and proceeds generally in a general north westerly direction for 350 metres to terminate on the dismantled railway known as the Abernant-Llwydcoed Trail (Grid reference SO02390270)
During the closure the alternative route is via the existing highway network
