Rogue Traders in Tonypandy

Police are appealing for information after a rogue traders are believed to have conned an elderly couple in Tonypandy on Wednesday, 7th October, 2020.
Two men charged nearly £2,000 to cut a tree down in their garden.
The men provided quotes for the work but kept adding costs until the total amounted to £1,900 – it was paid in cash.
The men drove off when they were confronted by the couple’s daughter who had visited when they were there.
Officers investigating the incident have managed to find CCTV still of the vehicle used by the suspects.
It was later seen in Cwmparc at approximately 1.30pm.
The two men are urged to contact 101 immediately, as is anybody who believes they know who was responsible.
