Road Closure Notification – Croesbychan Road
As part of the ongoing construction of the A465, a temporary road closure of Croesbychan Road is required from its junction with the A465 to the junction with Cwmynysminton Road.
This closure will take place from Monday 14 November 2022 for a period of around 5 weeks.
The closure is required to undertake the construction works for a new roundabout that is being installed at the location shown on the diversion map. This will be a permanent roundabout that will connect to the new A465 dual carriageway as a part of new junction arrangements in this location.
We are unable to maintain traffic through the road as there is a significant height difference between the old and new road levels. The closure will mean that traffic will be unable to access the A465 from the western end of Croesbychan Road.
However, vehicles needing access to the properties situated along Croesbychan Road east of the junction with Cwmynysminton Road will have access up to the point where the road is closed, as shown on the diversion map.
The map shows the official diversion and the restricted access that will be in place during these closures.
