HIRWAUN TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE
RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (FOOTPATH 45 HIRWAUN) (TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends not less than seven days from the date of this Notice to make an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will have a maximum duration of six months The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding along that part of the footpath that commences on a concrete ramp (Grid reference SN95897054782) on Merthyr Road proceeding in a northerly direction for approximately 50 metres then proceeding in a westerly direction for approximately 17 metres down concrete steps with handrail to terminate at its junction with a pedestrian link leading to Bethel Place (Grid Reference SN9592505526) The restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety. The Order will be in operation from 30th July 2019 for a period of 6 months For the duration of the closure, the public are advised to use the existing highway network.
