Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board’s Maternity Services have been making extensive preparations regarding Coronavirus in pregnancy.Please be assured that we have detailed plans in place to ensure the care we give is in line with the current guidance issued by The Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and The Royal College of Midwifery, and that all our staff are fully trained.We will be contacting women who have scheduled appointments for antenatal clinics, including scan appointments, before their clinic appointment is due. Please do not arrive early for your scheduled appointments in clinics. Aim to arrive at the scheduled time.Any women who have scheduled home visits for antenatal or postnatal appointments will be contacted before their appointments, for screening purposes, before a midwife comes to see them.We have set up a phone line for anyone who is not able to speak to their community midwife or for our out of hours advice.You can contact us on 01443 443524. Please be patient if you have to wait during these exceptional circumstances.
