Coal Tip Safety (Wales) White Paper

Consultation descriptionThe proposals aim to introduce a consistent approach to the management, monitoring, and oversight of disused coal tips. We are consulting on:

• a new legislative management regime for monitoring and maintaining disused coal tips; and
• establishment of a new public body to ensure compliance with and consistent delivery of a new management regime.
