Over 3500 children benefit from the Rhondda Cynon Taff Music Service, which works across schools in some of Wales’ most deprived areas, delivering specialised music provision across the heart of the South Wales Valleys.
Having looked at the website http://caradog.org.uk an excellent portrayal of Griffith Rhys ‘Caradog’ Jones a Welsh conductor born in the Cynon valley in 1834.
Take a look at this website and then ask the question why are Rhondda Cynon Taf Council depriving our children of music.
Figures released by the Official Chart Company (OCC) show 35% of the 50 biggest selling classical albums sold in the UK have been produced by Welsh recording artists.
