Problems around Aberaman

There are a few concerns around the Aberaman area as you were aware we have been highlighting concerns over shopping trolleys dumped in the River Cynon we did have a meeting with Mr Tracy Plant Asset Retrieval Manager who said his company Trolleywise had retrieved trolleys out of the River Cynon from the photographs we had placed on AberdareOnline but it would from photographs taken today the same shopping trolleys are embedded in the Cynon next to Persimmon Homes development Coed Dyffryn.
AberdareOnline has contacted Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, Trolleywise and Natural Resources Wales but the pollution remains in the river. It would appear no one is interested in keeping this river free from pollution, it all adds up to ongoing problems keeping the water flowing and preventing another flooding situation.
Again in Aberaman rear of Church Hall there is a small watercourse/open drain running from under the B4275 into the River Aman, at first sight it would appear it is polluted the water is discolored is it effluent? There is also evidence of tissue paper and detergents within the watercourse; we think someone should investigate just in case there is a problem.
There are a number of trees fallen across the River Aman near the allotments again watercourses should be kept clear.
