Partnerships and Communities Together
Posted by Lewis on the 5th March 2015
Partnerships and Communities Together (PACT) meetings are intended to give you an opportunity to highlight the community issues that are having an impact on your quality of life and to assist in deciding which issues are dealt with as priorities. It is not a surgery to discuss individual issues or concerns. Your neighbourhood policing team hold PACT surgeries separately. The meetings also give you the opportunity to get to know your local officer.
Yesterday there was a PACT meeting at Aberaman North just like the wards below taken for the Our Bobby website today, the meeting at Aberaman last night was not advertised on the Internet or by public notice. Neither one of the two Labour councillors from Aberaman North Ward attended the meeting last night. The 2 PCSO’s who did attended the meeting said, “The majority of questions raised are council related.”
Until yesterday with no councillor in attendance the last meeting at Aberaman North was almost 4 months ago: 12/11/2014.
So much for Partnerships and Communities Together.
