Brown Asbestos at the Michael Sobell Sports Centre Aberdare
Posted by Lewis on the 9th May 2016
On the16th December 2008 Michael Sobell Sports Centre, Aberdare DTM follow up
In 1999 there was a poor asbestos strip of Amosite Asbestos (Brown Asbestos) Considered to be the second-most hazardous type of asbestos.
It would seem brown asbestos was prevalent within the building in the wall cavity’s steel beams etc. RCTC were aware of this back in 2008 so why is it costing £6.3 M to remove as an extra why was this not taken into account at tender stage of demolition
