Aberaman Bridge: Extensive concrete repairs and access provision

In addition it has been identified that concrete was falling from the soffit of

Aberaman Bridge onto the footway below. The footway has been closed as a safety measure, and a principal inspection, concrete testing and removal of loose concrete to fully assess the extents of the repair works required has been commissioned. Major repair works will be required and Farm Road will need to be closed. Farm Road serves as the only access to a number of business and residential properties, therefore it will be necessary to construct an alternative access route via Aberaman Industrial Estate.
