Dog Daisy in Dare Valley Country Park

The Oxeye or Dog Daisy

Latin Name = Leucanthemum vulgare

Dog daisies form a wonderful show in early summer, often along roadside verges. The flowers are over an inch across, like small garden marguerites, borne singly on stalks a foot or so high.

From the Twin Tips looking across the Bwllfa.

Visible is the local reservoir and the village of Bwllfa Dare.
