RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (VICTORIA SQUARE (WAR MEMORIAL), ABERDARE) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close Cardiff Street, Aberdare – War Memorial southbound section of Victoria Square The restriction is necessary to enable works to be carried out on or near the roads The closure is expected to be in operation from 9:30am to 3:30pm on 24th March 2019 or until such time as the works have been completed. Access will be maintained for pedestrians BUT NOT for emergency service vehicles The alternative route for vehicles is as follows: From the northern side of the closure, proceed via A4233 Victoria Square, A4233 High Street, continue onto A4233, A4059 southbound, B4275 Cardiff Street to the southern side of the closure Dated 22 March 2019 Christopher B.
