Beacons Mountain Rescue Team were called out on Tuesday evening by South Wales Police asking us to assist in finding a lost male in the Aberdare area. At the same time our base was full of individuals who have shown an interest in joining the team.
On Monday evening papers were hand delivered to Councillors by one of the Council's chauffeurs for Wednesday's Council meeting. The papers referred to a decision made by the Labour Cabinet last month to, as they put it, review the Council's senior management structure.

Founded in 1908, and although not long, measuring 5345 yards, 5002 yards for ladies on our forward tees (5825 off blue tees) it provides a stern but enjoyable test of golf. As you would imagine being a heathland mountain course the course drains extremely well which supports our aim to keep our greens open twelve months of the year.
