Like all Councils in Wales, Rhondda Cynon Taf faces a huge budget challenge in the coming months and years, as we see our budget continually reduced, as a result of UK Government cuts to public spending.
Maes y Coed Primary School in Pontypridd along with four other Schools in the Rhondda Cynon Taf and Merthyr area are helping Cwm Taf University Health Board promote a campaign to educate people about medicines and the importance of not stockpiling.
The purpose of the Abercwmboi Photo Archive Project is to tell the story of Cap Coch and Abercwmboi through photographs of the people and places that have made this village.
A local history group has been formed and through them a collection of images and photographs are being built. Abercwmboi has a strong industrial history but it also has a rich cultural, commercial and rural heritage.
