Condon Family – The Aberdare connection

I’ve been searching for my Grandaunt Johanna Curran who was born (1867) in Lismore, Co. Waterford, Ireland. Recently, using the 1911 Wales census, I found her records, in 1891 a John Condon from Aberdare married Johanna Creen (phonetically correct).
John also had Irish connections – his parents John Condon 1835 and mother Mary Cox 1838 were also born in Lismore. John and Mary Cox had several other children as well, some of them becoming well known locally in the undertaking business.
John Condon and Johanna had at least four children: Mary in 1893, David John in 1894, Catherine or Kate in 1895 and Joseph in 1898 all born and living in Aberdare at the time of the 1911 census. John died in 1926 and Johanna died in 1933.
Tonight with the help of AberdareOnline I have discovered their son David John Condon, aged 42, working as a Collier in the Gadlys – River Level Colliery in 1936.
I would love to make contact with family members (children or grandchildren) of any of the above and intend visiting the mid & south Glamorgan area in the near future.

My wife and I are just back in Ireland from our holiday in Wales and as usual loved every minute, visiting Aberdare 3 times - lots to like about your town. Got some very usefull info while visiting Aberdare library and found my grandfather's last brother David Curran who died in Maerdy in 1935.
David John Condon died in 1949 residence Bridgend Inn, Hirwaun (I believe it has been demolished), his wife Emily Rhyanydd Jenkins died in 1975. They had two daughters Mary b.1917 married Michael Purcell and Joan married Albert E. David, Joan and Albert had a son Robert J. David born in 1946.
Catherine Condon married William Allen and had children William J known as Jackie Allen b.1920, Kathleen M Allen b.1921 and Joseph P. Allen b.1934.
Mary Condon married Vernon V. Jones and had one daughter Phyllis Jones b.1918
Joseph Condon married Irene M Gay in 1949 they lived in Aberaman, they had at least 4 children Doreen b.1920, (who may have married Alfred R. Thomas and had a son Graham Thomas b.1951), Hilda b.1921 d.1931, Margaret b.1923 (who may have married William George and had a son Peter George about 1947) and Robert Condon b.1928.
The better known of the above would possibly be David John because of his association with the "Bridgend Inn", during WWII he also worked in Rhigos Royal Ordnance Factory.
If any of the above rings a bell with anyone please contact me.
