very helpful and informative site
The Latter Day Saints url is familysearch.org. You can also help by indexing as I have been doing for the past year. Right now I'm working on Bedfordshire and Berkshire. It's my way of paying it forward as I have received much help from the Mailing Lists in RootsWeb. They have been more than helpful.
As an aside, I have just (with the help of a mailing list contributor) found my "missing" gr-grandfather and learned his family had moved to Aberdare sometime between 1856 and 1861. He then emigrated to the U.S. in 1863.
My brick wall just got a huge crack in it. GRIN.
