Welsh Dads Survey 2016,
Parents Matter Cymru is undertaking a survey of the experience of dads in Wales.
The parenting charity promotes the benefits to children of the positive engagement of fathers and father figures. This is the second annual survey of Welsh dads undertaken by Parents Matter Cymru, the result of the 2015 survey can be viewed here.
The responses gathered from the 2016 survey will be shared with Welsh Government, local authorities and media to improve the way dads in Wales are supported. The Welsh Government has produced Guidance for Parenting Support which includes a section on working with fathers, the survey includes a question that asks for specific comments about this guidance. Particularly, how family support professionals can improve their engagement with fathers in Wales.
