Welsh Charity searches for the new voice of an Angel!

Welsh Hearts Charity have announced that Aled Jones will be a star guest at their annual Christmas concert ‘A Christmas on Broadway’ which is being held at City Hall, Cardiff on Friday 15th December 2017.

 Aled needs no introduction. A Welsh singer who rose to fame as a young boy for singing "Walking in the Air", the beautiful song from Channel 4's animated film "The Snowman".

 

Since he shot to stardom, Aled’s career has gone from strength; Aled now regularly presents on TV and is well known for his work with the BBC & ITV as well as his radio work with BBC Radio Wales & Classic FM.

 

 All Wales Charity, Welsh Hearts are searching the length and breadth of Wales to find a new ‘Voice of an Angel’. The charity have launched a campaign to find a boy soprano to sing alongside Aled Jones and other well known artists at their Christmas Concert on the 15th December.

 Sharon Owen Charity Director said.

 “We are thrilled to have Aled on board for our Christmas concert. Inspired by Aled’s story, we would like to give another rising star the opportunity to take to the stage and sing alongside Aled at this year’s concert.”

 “This is a really exciting opportunity for aspiring signers. We are reaching out to the whole of Wales to encourage anyone to apply! All you have to do is send a recording by the 15th November 2017 to be considered.”

 Tickets for the concert are now available to buy.  There are various pricing packages available from £25 up to £47, which includes a meet and greet with Aled Jones.
