'Vote Labour to keep out the Tories' is a 'con'
Responding to the First Minister of Wales' tactical voting plea today, Plaid Cymru's Rhodri Glyn Thomas said:
"For nearly a century, Wales has rejected the Tory party and voted Labour but ended up with Tory governments in Westminster.
"There is nothing 'progressive' about a vote for Labour in Wales. Time and again, Labour MPs from Wales have voted against the Welsh national interest in Westminster.
"It is highly likely that there will be a hung parliament after May 7th. The only way to get the best deal for Wales in terms of powers and funding is by returning the strongest ever group of Plaid Cymru MPs to Westminster."
