RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990 SECTION 257 PUBLIC PATH ORDER FOOTPATHS 22, 23 AND 24 LLWYDCOED On 24 February 2017 Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council (“the Council”) confirmed the above order. The effect of the order as confirmed will be to stop up and divert the lengths of footpaths as described in the Schedule to this notice and shown on the order map. A copy of the confirmed order and the order map may be seen free of charge at the offices of the Council at Sardis House, Sardis Road, Pontypridd CF37 1DU and at The Pavilions, Cambrian Park, Clydach Vale, Tonypandy CF40 2XX during normal office hours. Copies may be bought there for a reasonable charge. The order comes into force on the date on which the Council certify that the terms of Article 2 of the order have been complied with but if any person is aggrieved by the order desires to question its validity or that of any provision contained in it on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act, or on the ground that any requirement of the Act or of any regulation made under it has not been complied with, he or she may apply to the High Court for any of these purposes under section 287 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 within 6 weeks from the date on which this notice is first published as required by paragraph 7 of Schedule 14 to that Act. SCHEDULE (Note: Those parts of the existing footpaths individually numbered and described in Part 1 of the Schedule shall be stopped up or diverted on the date on which the Council certifies that the terms of Article 2 of this order have been complied with and thereafter there shall be new lengths of highways replacing those so diverted or stopped up over the land described in Part 2 of the Schedule bearing the same number) PART 1 1. Description of sites of existing lengths of footpaths to be diverted 1.1 Footpath 24 Llwydcoed A – B That part of the footpath that commencing at Point A on the Order Map (grid reference SN9933204317) approximately 37 metres south west of the property known as 1 Founders Row, Llwydcoed and proceeds in a general north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 128 metres to Point B on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9922504394). Width 5.5m 1.2 Footpath 22 Llwydcoed B – D – E That part of the footpath commencing at Point B on Order Map (grid reference: SN9922604394) approximately 133 metres north west of the property known as No. 1 Founders Row, Llwydcoed and proceeds in a general north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 25 metres to Point D on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9920904413), then in a general north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 55 metres to Point E on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9917704459). Width 0.9m – 1.8m 1.3 Footpath 22 Llwydcoed F – G That part of the footpath commencing at Point F on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9923204503 opposite the property known as 80 Tan Y Bryn Gardens, Llwydcoed and proceeds in a general northerly direction for a distance of approximately 89 metres to Point G on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9922604583). Width 0.9m – 1.8m 2.Description of sites of existing footpaths to be stopped up 2.1 Footpath 22 Llwydcoed E – F That part of Footpath 22 Llwydcoed commencing at Point E on the Order Map (grid reference SN9917704459) and proceeds in a general north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 74 metres to Point F on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9923204503). Width 0.9m – 1.8m 2.2 Footpath 23 Llwydcoed B – C That part of the footpath commencing at Point B on Order Map (grid reference: SN9922504394) approximately 133 metres north west of the property known as No. 1 Founders Row, Llwydcoed and proceeds in a general westerly direction for a distance of approximately 10 metres to Point C on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9921104390). Width 2.4m PART 2 1. Description of sites of alternative highways 1.1 Footpath 24 Llwydcoed A – C Commences at Point A on the Order Map (grid reference SN9933204317) approximately 37 metres south west of the property known as 1 Founders Row, Llwydcoed and proceeds in a general north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 131 metres to Point C on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9921104390). Width 5.5m 1.2 Footpath 22 Llwydcoed C – D – H Commences at Point C on Order Map (grid reference: SN9921104390) and proceeds in a general north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 20 metres to Point D on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9920904413), then in a general north easterly direction for a distance of approximately 18 metres to Point H on the Order Map where the footpath meets the Footway of Tan Y Bryn Gardens opposite No. 46. Width 1.8m 1.3 Footpath 22 Llwydcoed K – G Commences at Point K on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9923204509) on the footway opposite No. 80 Tan Y Bryn Gardens and proceeds in a general northerly then north westerly direction for a distance of approximately 83 metres to Point G on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9922604583) at the rear of the property known as Copper Beach, Llwydcoed Road, Llwydcoed. Width 0.9m – 1.8m 2. Descriptions of sites of alternative highways 2.1 Footpath 22 Llwydcoed H – I – J – K Commences at Point H on Order Map (grid reference: SN9921904422) on the footway of Tan Y Bryn Gardens opposite No. 46 and proceeds along the footway in a general northerly direction for a distance of approximately 55 metres to Point I on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9918704475) opposite No.42 Tan Y Bryn Gardens, it then crosses Tan Y Bryn Gardens to Point J on the Order Map (grid reference 9919104482) opposite No. 23 Tan Y Bryn Gardens, it then proceeds along the footway of Tan Y Bryn Gardens for a distance of 44 metres to Point K on the Order Map (grid reference: SN9923204509) opposite No. 80 Tan Y Bryn Gardens.
