(TEMPORARY FOOTPATH CLOSURE) ORDER 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will have a maximum duration of six months
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily prohibit any person from proceeding along that part of the footpath that commences on a concrete ramp (Grid Reference SN9589705482) on Merthyr Road proceeding in a northerly direction for approximately 50 metres then proceeding in a westerly direction for approximately 17 metres down concrete steps with handrail to terminate at its junction with a pedestrian link leading to Bethel Place (Grid Reference SN9592505526)
The restriction is necessary in the interests of public safety.
The Order will be in operation from 7th November 2017 for six months
For the duration of the closure, the public are advised to use the existing highway network.
