TalkChildcare campaign
The Welsh Government launched a campaign, #TalkChildcare, in August 2016 to talk to parents and providers about the new childcare offer for Wales. The campaign aimed to understand the barriers facing parents when accessing childcare.
The Welsh Government has now published some of the key messages they have received from the campaign.
Some of the issues raised include:
- Cost of childcare
- Issues around Early Education
- Flexibility and accessibility of childcare
- Continuous care
- Support for childcare providers
