St John’s UNIQ Oxford Summer School
At the beginning of July, I had the opportunity to participate in the UNIQ Oxford Summer School. During the week, I experienced the life of a Philosophy, Politics and Economics student by attending lectures, writing an essay on the topic of social equality and participating in an hour long tutorial, a method of teaching which is unique to Oxbridge. Despite spending a lot of time in the library, we balanced our time working with plenty of social activities such as a comedy evening, sports in the university park and a night at the 'Camera' nightclub! The week concluded with a barbecue and a presentation of books and certificates to all of the participants. I had an absolutely fantastic time during the week and I now feel inspired to make a competitive application to Queen's College, Oxford!
