(PEDESTRIAN CROSSING) NOTICE 2017
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council in exercise of their powers under Section 23 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and after consultation with the Chief Officer of Police in accordance with Section 23(2)(a) of the said Act and having notified the Welsh Government in writing, proposes the following: –
1. The “Mid Glamorgan County Council Traffic Regulation Act 1967, Section 21 – Pedestrian Crossing, Borough of Cynon Valley (District 3) “ shall be varied by the deletion of ‘item 3Z5’ from the schedule (b) Zebra Crossings
2. Introduce a signalled controlled Puffin Crossing on the B4275 Hirwaun Road, Trecynon at a point 10 metres south east of its northern junction with Mount Pleasant Street
A copy of the relevant documents may be inspected during normal office hours at the Principal Offices of the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council, The Pavilions, Cambrian Park, Clydach Vale, Tonypandy, CF40 2XX and Aberdare Library, Green Street, Aberdare, CF44 7AG until 8th January 2018
Objections to the proposal together with the grounds on which they are made must be sent in writing to the Traffic Manager, Sardis House, Sardis Road, Pontypridd, CF37 1DU by 8th January 2018
