serious road traffic collision on Penrhiwceiber Road, Mountain Ash
We are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision on Penrhiwceiber Road, Mountain Ash this morning. An 11 year old boy was taken to hospital by air ambulance following the incident.
The incident happened around 8.45am this morning.
Police and emergency services attended and the Wales Air Ambulance took the boy to the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff. His condition is described as critical.
We are keen to keen to trace the rider of a red motorbike (pictured) which left the scene moments after the incident.
Officers investigating the incident are appealing for any witnesses to come forward. Anyone with information about the collision, or the motorbike, is asked to contact us on 101 quoting reference number 1500323884.
