Serious Assault Ton Pentre
Police in Ton Pentre are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault on Church Road in Ton Pentre.
The incident took place at around 1.20am on Sunday 27th December when a man approached a 43 year old man outside the New Inn Hotel and assaulted him, in what appears to be an unprovoked attack. The 43 year old victim sustained a broken jaw and cut to the head in the assault.
PS Andy Price said: “This was a violent attack and we are conducting extensive enquiries in order to trace the suspect.
“We would ask anyone who may have seen the assault, or recognises the man in the CCTV photo, to get in touch with us.”
