(TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2019
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months.
The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close Craig Evan Leyshon Common Road, Abercynon from a point approximately 870 metres southeast of its junction with the A4054 to Garth Fawr Farm
The restriction is necessary to enable works to be executed on or near the road in connection with work to Openreach infrastructure.
The closure is expected to be in operation between 9:30am on 7th November 2019 and 3:30pm on 8th November 2019 or until such time as the works have been completed
Alternative route – from the south eastern side of the closure proceed via Craig Evan Leyshon Common Road, Llanfabon Road, Mafon Road (A472) and the A4054. For vehicles travelling in the opposite direction, reverse the directions given above.
Access for emergency services and pedestrians will be maintained
