RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL REGULATION OF OFF STREET CAR PARKS VARIATION ORDER 2017
Notice is hereby given that Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council (“the Council”) have made an order under sections 32 and 35 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the 1984 Act”) and of all other enabling power, the effect of which will be to:
1. Vary the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council (Regulation of Off Street Car Parks) Order 2012 by the insertion and deletion of the items specified in the Schedule to this notice.
The Order will come into operation on 1st April 2017
Any person wishing to question the validity of the order or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under it had not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 28th March 2017 apply to the High Court for this purpose
SCHEDULE
Variation of Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council
(Regulation of Off Street Car Parks) Order 2012
1. Where in Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “Aberdare Park and Ride Car Park” there shall be inserted into Column 4 thereto the words “; rail users only”.
2. Where in Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “Duke Street Car Park, Aberdare” there shall be inserted into Columns 5 and 6 the words “Maximum stay of 4 hours.”
3. Where in the Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “Gas Road Car Park, Pontypridd” there shall be inserted into Columns 5 and 6 thereto the words “Maximum stay of 4 hours”.
4. Where in Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “Green Street Car Park, Aberdare” there shall be inserted into Columns 5 and 6 thereto the words “Maximum stay of 4 hours”.
5. Where in Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “Henry Street Car Park (North) Mountain Ash” there shall be inserted into Columns 5 and 6 thereto the words “Maximum stay of 4 hours”.
6. Where in Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “High Street Car Park, Aberdare” there shall be inserted into Columns 5 and 6 thereto the words “Maximum stay of 4 hours”.
7. Where in Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “Library Car Park, Aberdare” there shall be inserted into Columns 5 and 6 thereto the words “Maximum stay of 4 hours”.
8. Where in Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “Riverside Car Park, Pontypridd” the corresponding row shall be deleted from the Schedule.
9. Where in Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “Tonypandy Town Centre (Lower) Car Park” there shall be inserted into Columns 5 and 6 thereto the words “Maximum stay of 4 hours”.
10. Where in Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “River Street Car Park, Treforest” there shall be deleted from Column 4 thereto the words “All days and all hours” and inserted into Column 4 thereto the words “2 hours limited waiting; No return within 2 hours”.
11. Where in Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “Gadlys Pit Car Park, Aberdare” the corresponding row shall be deleted from the Schedule.
12. Where in the Column 1 of the Schedule reference is made to “Ynys Car Park, Aberdare” there shall be deleted from Column 5 thereto the words “0800 to 1800” and inserted into Column 4 thereto the words “0800 to 1600 Saturdays only – 3 hours with no return within 3 hours”
13. The following item shall be added to the Schedule:
