Cllr Maureen Webber, Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Cabinet Member for Council Business said: “This Christmas we want to showcase and celebrate our town centres to not only boost the local economy, but also highlight to residents the fantastic offer that is right here in their local towns and high streets.

“There are some real hidden treasures in our town centres, offering great value for money and, of course, by supporting local businesses, you are supporting local employment and industry.

“Our popular Christmas events return bringing people into our Town Centres with Christmas Markets, Reindeer Parades, Festive Funfairs and, of course Santa’s Grotto.

“All this is supported with our offer of free car parking in all council town centre car parks throughout the month to make it even easier for residents and visitors to experience Christmas in RCT this year. We are also looking forward to working with all local businesses to help them promote and share their festive offers.”
