The Netball Europe Annual Championship – Macey Lane from St John School
St John school would like to wish Macey Lane (year 11) all the best for the netball Europe Open Championships which are being held over this weekend in Belfast.
The Netball Europe Annual Championships provide a performance environment and opportunity to raise the profile of the game.
The championships bring together Europe's larger countries and the developing netball nations.
Macey will be representing Wales at U17 level which is a tremendous achievement for someone of her age! Macey has also been selected for a scholarship to do her A-Levels in a well known sporting establishment in Shropshire called Wrekin College.
Once again, we are very proud of her achievements and hope that she will have a very successful sporting future!

Macey started her netball mania at the tender age of 10 for Cynon Valley Netball Junior Club. Macey made her county debut at 12 years old for Glamorgan Valleys U14. Macey was awarded player of the Inter Areas tournament for Glamorgan Valleys A squad in Bangor 2014 – position GA.
Macey was selected for Glamorgan Valleys Development HUB at the age of 13 and was selected to play at the HUB tournaments in 2014 & 2015- position GA.
