The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) is the research arm of the NHS.

Launched today, an NIHR review of research evidence into the organisation and quality of stroke service is available to download.

Research evidence presented in the review comes from projects funded (either fully or in part) by the NIHR.

The review has been created with input from a steering group of commissioners, STP (Sustainability Transformation Plans) leads, clinicians, researchers, and service leaders, including Professor Anthony Rudd, National Clinical Director for Stroke at NHS England and Dr Dale Webb, Director of Research and Information at the Stroke Association.
