Knife point robbery at The Gardens, Caerphilly Road, Quakers Yard
South Wales Police are appealing for witnesses following a knife point robbery at The Gardens, Caerphilly Road, Quakers Yard. This incident took place at approximately 8.00pm on 1 March 2017.
A woman was threatened by a man wielding a black handled knife as she got out of her car. The man demanded her bag and when she refused to hand it over he pulled it from her grasp by force. The suspect then made off along a lane that leads towards Bryngerwyn Avenue and Edwards Terrace.
The man is described as slim build, approximately five foot three inches tall wearing a dark coloured parka type coat with the hood up covering his face. The victim was uninjured in the attack.
