CWMDARE ROAD, ABERDARE VARIATION AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS
RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL
(CWMDARE ROAD, ABERDARE) (VARIATION AND WAITING RESTRICTIONS) ORDER 2020
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council have made an Order under Sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (“the Act”) and all other enabling powers, the effect of which will be to:
1. Vary the Traffic Regulation Order specified in Schedule 1
2. Introduce Waiting Restrictions on the lengths of roads specified in Schedule 2
The Order will come into operation 31 July 2020
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Orders or of any provision contained in it on the grounds that they are not within the powers conferred by the Road Traffic Regulation Act, 1984 or on the grounds that any requirement of that Act or of any instrument made under it had not been complied with in relation to the Order, may within six weeks from 31 July 2020 apply to the High Court for this purpose
SCHEDULE 1 – Variation
1. The “Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council (Prohibition and Restriction of Waiting and Loading and On Street Parking Places) Consolidation Order 2012” shall be varied in that the order referred to in the Schedule of Orders as ‘Mid Glamorgan County Council (Cwmdare Road, Cwmdare, Aberdare) (Revocation and Prohibition of Waiting) Order 1995’ shall be varied as follows: a. Schedule 2 – North western side (item ii) shall now read:
‘From a point 130 metres, north east of the north eastern side of its junction with Graiglwyd, north eastwards for a distance of 63 metres’
SCHEDULE 2 – Prohibition of Waiting At Any Time
1. Cemetery Road
a. North eastern side, from its southern junction with the access to Station Place, in a south easterly direction for a distance of 94 metres
b. South western side, from its junction with the north western side of Cwmdare Road, in a north westerly direction for a distance of 18 metres
c. Southern side, from its south eastern junction with Cwmdare Road, in a north easterly direction for a distance of 46 metres
2. Cwmdare Road
a. North western side from a point 223 metres, north east of the north eastern side of its junction with Graiglwyd, north eastwards for a distance of 12 metres
