Criminal Behaviour Order for Pontypridd Man
Shaun Anthony, aged 37, of no fixed address, has become the first person in Pontypridd to be issued with a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
He is now prohibited from being under the influence of intoxicating substances in public places; not to use verbally abusive or threatening language or behaviour likely to cause alarm, harassment and distress towards any other person and he is prohibited from entering Pontypridd town centre.
PC Dai McCutheon said: “Shaun Anthony is a well known figure in Pontypridd but for all the wrong reasons.
“We are pleased we have been successful in our application to issue Shaun Anthony with Pontypridd’s first criminal behaviour order and hope he uses the restrictions placed upon him effectively and as a way of turning his life around.
“We are committed to working with our partner agencies to help make Pontypridd a safer place in which to work, live and visit.”
