Claire swaps reception for recruitment

CLAIRE Archer from Cwmbach near Aberdare has recently (March, 2017) been appointed as an Recruitment Administrator for an award-winning care company in Rhondda Cynon Taf (RCT).

The 34-year-old, who previously worked as a receptionist in Cardiff, has joined Abacare, which last year (2016) won a 10-year framework to provide care in the area, and will be responsible for dealing with its care job applications.

Claire said: “I am thrilled to have been appointed as the Recruitment Administrator at Abacare and am already enjoying the position. My day-to-day duties include updating Abacare’s online recruitment information, collating all CVs received, contacting potential candidates and scheduling and confirming interviews.”

Before working as a receptionist Claire also worked as a Payroll Clerk for 15 years for Tesco.

When she’s not working, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two children, as well as keeping fit with regular training sessions.

Sarah Williams, Manager of Abacare RCT, said: “It is fantastic to have Claire on board and she has fit into the team extremely well.

“As we get so many applications for positions within the company Claire’s role is integral to the smooth running of the recruitment process.”
