This tribunal allows children, parents and young people to contest decisions made about their or their child’s additional learning needs.
The Stage 1 report sets out the Committee’s recommendations for the Bill before debate in the Assembly. It gives 48 recommendations including a clarification of the definition of Additional Learning Needs and that the Minister make clarifications on aspects of the Bill during the Stage 1 debate.
