All the issues have been addressed following disappointing food hygiene rating

Environmental Health Officers carried out a routine inspection at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital on Wednesday June 17.

The full report delivered to the Health Board on June 25th  gave a food hygiene rating score of 1 for the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

However a re-visit was carried out earlier today (July 1st) which confirmed the health board has addressed all of the issues identified.
Lynda Williams, Director of Nursing, Midwifery and Patient Services at Cwm Taf University Health Board said: "We were very disappointed with the '1'rating  which was not in-keeping with our usual high standards and reflected in the Royal Glamorgan Hospital's previous score of '4'. However, following a re-visit carried out earlier today (July 1st) all corrective actions were found to have been completed and we await the formal re-assessment of our food hygiene score. Food standards remain one of our highest priorities and we are committed to providing a high quality service to our patients. This is reflected in the 5 star ratings at four of our other hospitals.”
