ABERCYNON ROAD, GLYNCOCH TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE ORDER 2019
RHONDDA CYNON TAFF COUNTY BOROUGH COUNCIL (ABERCYNON ROAD, GLYNCOCH) (TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURE) ORDER 2019 NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Rhondda Cynon Taff County Borough Council intends, not less than 7 days from the date of this Notice, to make an Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary Restrictions) Act 1991, which will have a maximum duration of eighteen months. The effect of the Order will be to temporarily close Abercynon Road, Glyncoch from its junction with B4273 Ynysybwl Road, north for approximately 400 metres It is expected to be in operation during the following dates and times or until the works are completed:- Between 8:00am and 4:00pm on 21st April, 28th April and 5th May 2019 Alternative Route – From the northern side of the closure, proceed via Abercynon Road, Park Street, Aberdare Road, Mountain Ash Road, Ynysmeurig Road (B4275), A4054, A470, Bridge Street (A4223), Berw Road (B4273) and Ynysybwl Road (B4273) From the Southern side of the closure proceed via Ynysybwl Road (B4273), Berw Road (B4273), Bridge Street (A4223), A470, Ynysmeurig Road (B4275), Walter Street (B4275), Margaret Street (B4275), Edward Street (B4275), Ynysmeurig Road (B4275), Mountain Ash Road, Aberdare Road, Park Street and Abercynon Road The restriction is necessary to enable works to be executed on or near the road Access will be maintained for emergency service vehicles or pedestrians Dated 5 April 2019 Andrew Wilkins Director of Legal Services The Pavilions, Cambrian Park, Clydach Vale, CF40 2XX
