RNIB Cymru make 13 books accessible for World Book Day 2023

With World Book Day just around the corner, here at RNIB Cymru, we’ve been busy making sure children across Wales who are living with sight loss can enjoy reading this year’s line-up of free books in
a format that’s accessible to them.

There are 13 books to choose from, and we’ve teamed up with the official campaign to make them available in both braille and audio formats, so they can be enjoyed by all children no matter their level of sight.

This year’s selection includes some fantastic reads from family favourites, including Lenny Henry, Adam Kay and Joe Wicks, so everyone’s bound to find a book they’ll love! For children who want to read this year’s Welsh language book, you’ll be pleased to hear that we’ve produced audio and braille versions of Gwisg Ffansi Cyw by Anni Llŷn. This book is part of the popular Cyw series and is aimed at younger readers.

If any of your readers would like to see the full line-up of books, they can head to worldbookday.com/books, and to request a book in an accessible format for free, give us a call on 0303 123 9999.

Yours sincerely,
