Welsh rugby fans can show their support for the national side - and older people, ahead of the crunch 6 Nations decider against England game on 16 March by wearing an Age Cymru Leek.
We launched the Leek to mark St David’s Day and it is available from our shops and offices across the country.
Our Director of Income Resources Richard Nicholls says:
“The staff at Age Cymru will all be gunning for Robert Howley’s lads on Saturday 16 March and we’ll all be wearing our Age Cymru Leeks.
“The Welsh public can also support our national side and Age Cymru’s work to improve the lives of older people in Wales, by getting an Age Cymru Leek.
“So please wear your Age Cymru Leek with pride on 16 March and help cheer on Wales to victory against England – come on Wales!”
And Wales’s top Max Boyce tribute act – Boycezone, will be sporting the Age Cymru Leek when they play in Cardiff city centre ahead of the Millennium Stadium clash.
Says band member Pete Davies – aka 'Packa Max':
“We’ll be warming up the fans in Cardiff before the England game with some of Max Boyce’s crowd-pleasers.
“We’ll be wearing our hearts on our sleeves and our Age Cymru Leeks on our lapels.
“So grab yourself an Age Cymru Leek, come along and join us for a singsong in Cardiff city centre on 16 March, and help us to inspire Wales to victory!”
