WALES YFC WELCOME NEW FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE OFFICER

Becca.JPG

Wales YFC are pleased to welcome the new Finance and Administrative Officer to the movement.

Rebecca Price, from Builth Wells, has joined the Wales YFC team on the Royal Welsh Showground, Llanelwedd. Rebecca is a recent graduate of Aberystwyth University and is an active member of YFC where she is currently Chairman of Builth Wells YFC. Rebecca has a passion for acting and will be on stage at the Wales YFC Drama finals in Swansea next month. Rebecca has been part of the lucky Builth Wells YFC team, representing Wales YFC, who have won the Pantomime and Entertainment Finals at National for the past two years.

As Finance and Administrative Officer, Rebecca will be responsible for the Wales YFC book-keeping, co-ordinating the administration of the Wales YFC Centre and Wales YFC Committees and to be responsible for Public Relations by preparing press releases and updating social media and the Wales YFC website.

There have been many changes at the YFC Centre in recent months with the appointment of a new Rural Development Officer and Project Support Officer, resulting in a number of new faces joining the organisation. The Wales YFC staff, together with the Wales YFC officers, aim to deliver a range of activities and projects for all members. The movement is one of Europe’s largest rural youth organisations which represents young people from 10 to 26 years of age in 12 federations and 160 clubs across Wales.
