RCT Business of the Year 2013 was Connect Assist

This year’s Rhondda Cynon Taf Business Club Gala Awards and Dinner promises to be better than ever with an unprecedented number of entries.

The annual awards have never received so many applications with a staggering 52 entering the prestigious event. Each of the individual award categories are being sponsored by leading companies.

The event has become a way to honour the achievement of businesses as well as being an inspiration for others.

Held at Miskin Manor Country Hotel on Friday March 28th 2014, the Gala Awards and Dinner evening is organised to celebrate and share best practice, while also enabling businesses of all sizes to put themselves forward for the spotlight.

This year’s host is BBC weather presenter Owain Wyn Evans with guest speaker Lowri Morgan, the sports journalist, adventurer, runner and motivational speaker.

Rhondda Cynon Taf Council’s Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Economic Development and Community Safety Cllr Paul Cannon said: “The annual Rhondda Cynon Taf Business Club Awards is a celebration of some of the County Borough’s most esteemed companies and organisations.

“In these times of economic uncertainty it’s so encouraging and exciting to see this event go from strength to strength and with an unprecedented number of entries this year, we’re sure the awards evening will be bigger and better than ever.

“It is important for us to get inspiration and motivation in order to drive us forward and I hope the success of the businesses recognised by the awards have inspired others.

The awards have in past years been fundamental in achieving widespread promotion and recognition of exceptional business expertise and home grown talent benefiting award winners and sponsors alike."
