TICKETS ON SALE FOR WALES YFC ENTERTAINMENT FEAST

TICKETS ON SALE FOR WALES YFC ENTERTAINMENT FEAST

Tickets are now on sale for an exciting event in the Wales YFC calendar – the Entertainment Feast, to be held at the Venue Cymru in Llandudno on Saturday the 15th and Sunday the 16th of March. This year the festival is kindly being sponsored by Coleg Cambria.

The event will host the Wales YFC Welsh and English Entertainment Competition which will see members from across Wales competing on behalf of their County Federations.

The Senior and Junior Member of the Year Competition, sponsored by JCP Solicitors, as well as the disco dancing and choir competition will also take place on the same weekend.

The Entertainment Competition has been held for a number of years and is one example of how the organisation succeeds in encouraging young people to take part in an activity which they wouldn’t ordinarily have the opportunity to that they would not usually do.

"The Wales YFC Entertainment Feast weekend is on the horizon.” Commented Gwennan Davies; Wales YFC’s Competitions Chairman. “The half hour Entertainment, Glee Choirs, Disco Dance and Junior and Senior Member of the Year competitions will showcase the talent that Wales YFC has to offer. The stage will be alive with young people from across Wales and I'm looking forward to seeing the winning performances from the County Federations, the variety of original ideas and enthusiastic members on the big stage. I would like to thank Coleg Cambria for sponsoring the weekend and for their support in ensuring that this event continues to benefit our members. Visit the feast, to enjoy and have lots of laughter! See you there!"

David Jones, Principal/Chief Execute of Coleg Cambria, which includes Coleg Llysfasi and the previous Welsh College of Horticulture said; "We are delighted to be supporting the YFC and this special event in particular. The land based sector and agriculture are so important to our college, and we are proud of our long standing links with the YFC, particularly at Llysfasi. The YFC plays such a fundamental role in Wales, and we are pleased to be able to support them and recognise the talent and achievements of all our young farmers across Wales".

Tickets are now on sale from the Venue Cymru box office (01492 872000, www.venuecymru.co.uk).
