Police in Rhondda are appealing for information following a burglary at Tom’s Tavern, Treorchy.
The incident occurred on Thursday, January 3rd.
It was captured on CCTV at the premises, which used to be the Treorchy Conservative Club.
At around 3.40am, the suspect, who is believed to be a male, gained entry into the building by breaking a UPVC door panel.
He then made his way to the bar area and stole cash from the till, which he took away in a distinctive ‘Tom’s Tavern’ branded cloth bag.
The suspect is also suspected of taking money from a fruit machine which was damaged.
Officers hope that by releasing CCTV stills of the incident people may recognise who was responsible.
The suspect was wearing what is believed to be a distinctive white hooded coat with dark sleeves up to the shoulder, jeans and white trainers.
He was inside the premises for just under 15 minutes, and it is believed he made off through a lane opposite the premises, towards Clarke Street.
