Take a look in the mirror Mr Smith

Just when is Owen Smith going to stop his whingeing and accept that not every criticism of the Welsh Labour Government is, to use his words, a "war on Wales."
In an open letter to David Cameron, delivered through the Welsh press, the Pontypridd MP complained that negative comments from Conservative Ministers at Westminster are harming Wales' reputation across Britain and around the world
Has he stopped to consider the fact that if the Welsh Labour Government actually upped their performance levels and brought about some improvements this side of Offa's Dyke then there would be less to criticise?
Does it ever cross his mind that the lives of his constituents would be enriched by a better education system and an improved health service - both of which are in the hands of the Welsh Labour Government? Has it occurred to him that business confidence may be increased if his Labour colleagues took economic development more seriously?
Does Mr Smith not think that if all these elements improved under Labour in Wales then there would be less for other political parties to disparage?
In the meantime whilst he is mulling these issues over maybe he could have a word with his colleagues both at Assembly and Local Government level and ask them to take a look in the mirror. It is hypocritical of Mr Smith to be blasting the Conservatives for attacking failures in Wales when his own party is desperately trying to blame anything and everything on Westminster.
