Tŷ Hafan, the family hospice for young lives, has launched the UK’s first bubble football five-aside fundraising tournament.

The new type of football sees players run around the pitch wearing giant inflatable bubbles. Participants will be tasked with playing a match inside the inflatable balls, while trying to collide with each other.
The brainchild of Norweigans Henrik Elvestad and Johan Golden, the first match was posted on YouTube in 2011 and, through the power of the internet, the sport has swept Europe.
Cardiff City House of Sport will host the charity's inaugural Bubble Football tournament on Sunday 10 November.

Sali Thomas, Head of Events at Tŷ Hafan, said: “Bubble Football provides all the all enjoyment of a regular five-a-side tournament with the added fun of zorbing body bubbles! We are very excited to be launching the first fundraising event of its kind and would encourage teams to sign up as soon as possible to secure their place.”
Tŷ Hafan is looking for 32 enthusiastic teams to take part. Entry is just £15 per person and each team is challenged to raise £150 in sponsorship for the event which is expected to raise more than £8,000 for Tŷ Hafan.
As well as the tournament, there will also be stalls, games and refreshments to entertain supporters on the day. Entry for spectators is just £5.
So what are you waiting for? Sign up now for a fantastic day out and to fundraise for families in Wales who rely on your help.
